The FAA is an operating mode of the U.S. Department of Transportation, who's continuing mission is to provide the safest, most efficient aerospace system in the world. As per their protocol, pilots have strict guidelines they must abide by, to fly. And when a pilot has suffered a head trauma, stroke, or any other conditions that cause a neurocognitive impairment, a neuropsychological evaluation is required- which is where we come in. Our doctor has worked with many pilots and has performed evaluations in the past, making sure to adhere to the FAA requirements and guidelines. Our office also utilizes CogScreen-AE, which is the FAA's sensitive and specific neuro-cognitive test battery, which is used in the medical re-certification of pilots with known or suspected conditions.
If you are a pilot suffering from impairment and you need a psychiatric evaluation for your re-certification, call our office for further information.
